backup startup&shutdown screens

Is it possible to backup these two images?

I've tried with copy and paste from the phone with ActiveSync,but it doesn't let me paste the two files because are "system files"....

What can i do?

You don't really need to back them up since they are part of the ROM.

If you're going to change them now and later want to revert to the originals they will still be there and can easily be reinstated.

Actually i want to change them.So is not important to backup both the screens because are in the ROM.Thanks! :D

The last question,but what must i do to reinstate them?

When you uninstall your own screens they shoud reappear, but if not then you can run Midnight's Home Restore cab. I'm uploading it here as I couldn't find it by searching..

If you just want the picture files so you can edit them, then you MAY be able to copy them using the in-built file explorer that came with the phone (if you are using a newer phone that has an in-built file explorer program)

Well, the built-in file explorer allows to copy these picture files to any other location on the phone, but there still no way to copy them to PC.

Any other ideas?

It turned out that Resco Smart Explorer does it perfectly.
