Guest tha_neo Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I still have that GPRS problem... When I try to connect it says "unable to place call". Have AT&T some kind of lock or something?? I´m using the phone in sweden and it is unlocked... Any ideas what it could be?
Guest squall Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I assume you havent entered the settings for the network in sweeden that you are using. All the settings can be found in the gprs settings post in the articles section :D
Guest tha_neo Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 I fixed the problem, Almost. I have another mpx200 which i bought here in sweden that works perfectly. The thing now is that it says "unable to connect. check that you have enough coverage" bla bla. What can I do to fix that problem??
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 Check you have the correct settings entered in Settings\Data Connections and also check that your network has enabled GPRS on your account. With your first phone the problem you had is that the AT&T phones are dual-band and do not have the 900 Mhz band where as European MPX200 like the ones from Orange are tri-band.
Guest tha_neo Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 The other one is an at&t phone, but the guy i bought it from on ebay said it had tri-band. That phone also have very poor signal, is it because of that??
Guest tha_neo Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 Awarner, do you know which rom version is the latest. SP2002 rom.
