Guest MECX Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Yeh read a few topics on it sounds bit buggy, i bet someone mods it to work well tho. Did you disable the MS bluetooth stack paul?
Guest dhood Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 Paul, How was your experience with the Toshiba BT stack? Is it stable enough for generable use? It sounds like it'd be pretty good if it works. Cheers D
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Unfortunately not, it keeps unloading... = unusable... P
Guest LadFromWales85 Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Personal Area Networking = Access samba shares on my computers?
Guest Solka Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 Indeed have a look at the following howto of the Toshiba BT webpage: http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/ -> HOWTOs http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/pages/...PDA_and_PAN.zip
Guest shack77 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Am I right in saying that most devices come without BT file transfer as standard? I have no problem with that, but there is the need to get more programs written so that ALL devices can use it if they like. This topic is getting loads of mileage lately! Bear in mind that I have no clue what a stack is, but it sounds complicated. By the time you read this, I'll know.
Guest MitchellO Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 No, most devices (including the JAM/XDA Mini) have BT File Transfer if they havve bluetooth. The XDA Mini because of the bluetooth stack integrates it with WM2003SE, so instead of a separate thing, you just hold tap on a file, click beam and wait for available BT devices to appear in the list (be sure to have bluetooth on).
