Guest camilo Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 (edited) Hello everyone! I have a 5600 and I have looked all over for this but I can’t find any other post. Is there any way to organize your songs in a play list? I have 55 songs in my phone and I would like to classify them in a separate play list. Every time I play it starts from top to bottom, but all the songs are all mixed. Any one have any idea on how to edit this I thought this might be like window in my pc but I guess not. Please if any one has any idea on how to do this please let me know? Edited January 15, 2005 by camilo
Guest martin Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 I don't think WMP has a playlist option. You can create playlists in Betaplayer or PocketMusic :D
Guest Confused Stu Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 You can use some third party softwares to make playlists for WMP. I've got a C500, so can vouch that this works on WMP9, it's called Playlist Manager 2003 (there is one available on another page for Smartphone 2002 as well): Playlist Manager download page You can make your playlists in this program, then select which one to play and WMP will open with only the songs in the playlist selected. Then you get the standard WMP options - shuffle, no fast forward, no rewind, etc! Don't know if this is exactly what you're after, but it's the nearest thing I can think of!
Guest scott2eyes Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Alternatively, you can use ASX files- there are a few freeware packages that will make the ASX file for you (I quite like one by Baldgorilla, but to be honest it's the only one I've tried using!) If you want to see how they work or make them yourself using nothing more than Notepad (it's pretty straightforward), then look at Making ASX playlists for Media Player.
Guest bneufeld Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 You can have playlist on the SMT-5600 since it has WMP10. Create your playlists with the desktop version of WMP10 then with your phone connected go to the Sync tab (again on the desktop) and add you playlist via the "Sync Settings" button in the upper left. With this auto sync feature all the content in your playlist is transferred and the playlist file can be found under Playlists in the media library on the phone.
