Guest KeyriBhoy Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Hey Windows media player on my c500 has stopped working :D I can play videos and songs and it goes through songs like it has the time through the track but theres no sound with headphones or loudspeaker, videos run but agains its picture with no sound. The keypad tones are working and my wav ringtone rings fine what could be the problem
Guest scott2eyes Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Hate to sound patronising, but are you sure you haven't just turned the volume in Media Player down? In WMP, check Menu>Settings.)
Guest martin Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 This also happens when you turn the volume right down on the left side of the phone.

It is very clear to see the level that the volume should be playing at and it changes as I move the joystick but no music. They songs are not protected and it also won't play the default sound files that came on the phone.
Guest radiator Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Anyone can offer advise??... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, stop using WMP and start using decent software! (Sorry, had to be done).

I use Betaplayer for music and video on my phone. I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about RE Media Player - I don't even use a modern version of it on my PC (Winamp for music, Media Player Classic for video).
