Guest Sharky Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Hi, I recently purchased a C500 on PAYG which I have had sim unlocked and am now using an O2 sim that I have on contract. When the call button is pressed there is a Orange bar at the top which says Orange (I presume this is the operator logo). I would like to change this for an O2 one. I have downloaded the operator logos from Kleinweders website, but am unsure of how to change it so that it has the O2 one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if this has already been covered, but it did search to no avail. Many thanks in advance :D Mark
Guest Killian Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 I think you'l find that the orange logo you get come across the top of the screen is actually the default caller id photo for all phone book entries. You can change this by associating photos with people in your contact book but not sure whether you can completely remove it without doing this. Theres prob some way you can edit the registry or delete the main file but i don't know enough about those ways to suggest anything to you. Hope it helps Killian

Let it be said tho that flashing the handset with a new ROM is a bit risky if you don't know what you are doing and you can turn it in to a hockey puck quicker than you can say hockey puck and the mfr won't touch a duffed up handset with a nine foot smelly pole.

Can you advise me ho you do this, the orange brand really bugs!! Thanks
