SD card problem

Hi U all

The SD card is not recognized and also I can't even find it on the phones menu.

But the phone has it down in ABOUT menu and that's it.

There are a few options. If you've got a file explorer on the phone you could try formating the card and see if that helps. Ditto if you've got a card reader on your PC/laptop. Otherwise I've heard that multi layer SDs card don't work in certain Smartphones. Has this card never worked for you? If not then maybe its a compatibility issue.

I just got this card from my cuz who also had a mpx200 and worked fine for him

Are you sure your SDslot works? Have you used any other SDcards in it before? It may have collected dust, try blow cleaning it. Also, leave your SDcard in, then do a soft reset. hope this helps

But the phone has it down in ABOUT menu

Settings\About on the phone does not show storage card information it's a common mistake people make. The Storage listed is what is on the phone.

Dual layer cards do work on the MPX200 it's the E200 that has this problem.

What make of card is it? as cards made by Kingmax can cause problems and

do not work well with the MPX200.
