Shortcut menu on home-screen?

Short question..

Is it possible to make a fixed list of programs in stead of the most recent programs popping up, in top of my home-screen?

Sort of being able to put my favorite applications up there instead of the list changing all the time?

I mean like in Win XP, on pressing the start-button, on the left side of the pop-up menu, you can either choose between showing the programs yuo used last, or you can choose to put together a list of your favorites..

Ahh. Dunno if there's a 2003 version of WinXP style homescreen. I think it was by Richie M. Have a look at the Homescreen - Downloads section.

If you click the start button, you go into the list of programs anyway!? What advantage would there be of making a homescreen do this?

If you want a list of fixed apps on your homescreen, then use the RJshortcuts plugin. It acts like the MRU but allows you to specify what programs you wanbt, instead of just the last used.
