Guest wakebordboy Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 Hello Everyone I couldn't really find this information and have been looking for awhile so I thought I should post about it. I am currently in the USA in colorado and was wondering what T-Mobile internet settings or any settings I need to make the MPX220 from cingular use everything from the T-Mobile network. Like internet an everything. Thanks for the help. :D WaKe
Guest domer Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 I had to delete ALL the data connections and start from scratch. Some of these names are variable for the data connections. The images should be set. I'm attaching a word document that breaks it down. Here are the high level things you have to create. Data Connections GPRS Connections - Main Screen all "Automatic" - 3 Total Data Connections T-Zones - GPRS T-Zones - MMS T-Zones - WAP Proxy Connections - only one setup T-Zones - Proxy MMSC Settings - only one setup T-Zones MMS See the Word Doc for the rest of the details. I made the document in order and note the headings for more details. FYI - I didn't just do this for you. I wanted to be sure I had it down and just in case I lost my settings I could recreate it.T_Mobile.doc

Guest domer Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 If you mean the custom T-Zones website where you can download content etc. I think you're out of luck. I read somewhere on here that with an unlocked phone you cannot get to that customized content. T-mobile somehow builds that into the Phone. There may be some secret website with a plugin that we can get to, but I don't have that info. For example, when I hold the HOME button down my Mpx220 tries to load a web page in IE. It fails and I think it's looking for some Cingular version of T-zones... Anyone have an update? Also, I'm not 100% sure the MMS settings on my attachment are right for EVERYWHERE. It seems when I travel out of Cincinnati (like I'm in Chicago now) I have difficulty getting MMS's to go outbound. Inbound is fine though.
Guest JJH24 Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 Yea this sucks i put all those settings in the phone and i cannot access the internet at all. I have the internet subscription but cannot access it i.e. download any ringtones or check scores this sucks.
