SMT 5600 Application Help

Simple question. When I use applications such as my Mapopolis and WMP10, after roughly 10 minutes of me not interacting with the phone, the screen goes back to the home screen. Obviously this can be very annoying when i am using the GPS and driving. Is there any way to turn this off?

in settings / homescreen change timeout to never :D
