An mp3 player you can talk to

If somebody made some small apps for controlling media player (or another player) then this'd be dead easy for smartphone:

• App called "play" - communicates with whatever music player is chosen, and sets it playing (launches the player if it's not already running)
  
• "pause" - communicates with the player and makes it pause
  
• "next" - skip to the next track
  
• "previous" - set to the previous track
  

Then we'd just set voice dial shortcuts to these apps, and voila - voice controlled mp3s
