I''m new to the Pocket PC world -- is there any advantage between the 2 kinds of memory cards?

And, for instance, will any SD card I buy work with the 9090?

Finally, if I buy TomTom for instance, how do I get its software on the memory card?

Thanks.

SD cards are pretty much the norm now. Any card, any device. If you have a camera that uses them, you should be able to pop the card in your phone and edit the photos directly. Plus, check these out.

TomTom comes on it's own 128 meg card; it's that big! Apparently you can copy the data to a larger card, leaving you room for adding your own stuff.

Thanks. That Sandisk card looks brilliant! For TomTom though I guess you'd need a PC card reader to copy it to your PC and then back to your larger card.

The card I bought came with a USB reader that you pop it into. Only added less than 10 pounds to the price. Worth having!

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to simply copy the appropriate files across between PocketPC and PC using activesync - remember that the phone itself will operate as a card reader when plugged into the PC... :D

How are you finding the Blue Angel size wise, does it go in the pocket ok? I think its the one I'm going to go for because I would use the WI-FI alot but there is still the Jam in the back of my mind with SD WIFI.

Have you tried the WI-FI on the Blue Angel yet? Which network did you go for?
