E200 and Network Access

Hi all,

Is there a way to access the network via the cradle without using the GPRS.

What I want to do is use the PC connection to connect through the phone and

backing up my data without spending my GPRS crredits.

It was possible on my P800 when attached to its cradle I was able to do that.

You can only connect to the computer the phone is connected to not a network.

I think I didnt make myself clear.

I didnt mean a network I meant

use the computer's internet access on the phone

If you have your PC connected to the internet, your phone connected to the PC via activeSync and the internet connection set to Automatic (or Passthrough) it should use your PC's connection (at leasyt that's how it works with the C500)

I just want to add that it works.

If you set the Connection on the phone

to pass through and put it at the cradle

it works with the connection of the PC.

I was able to backup the phone without using

GPRS and using only the PC's conection.
