Hi, How can I get my bluetooth headset (Plantronics M2500), to play all audio like when playing music files etc. on windows meadia to play down the headset?

If you have Binarys SP Task Manager installed, make it show process list and un tick Hide system apps, then stop the cdial.exe process. You will then hear all sounds from the phone including MP3's. I have my headset active at the time when I do this but I don't think it makes a differance. Task manager can be downloaded from binarys.com.

The pre-loaded file manager on the C500 may do the same thing as the above but I don't use it so I'm not sure.

Hope this helps

you then have to press the button on your headset to transfer the sound from phone to earpiece. pressing it again then toggles the sound to the phone speaker. sweet!!

when you press a number on the keypad as if to start dialling, cdial.exe relaunches: then the next time you press the headset button you get the voicedial option - and music then stops being piped to the headset. i think.

question: is there a program out there which kills cdial.exe? i agree with nightmare that this would me much quicker if you could just launch the prog (e.g with a speed dial or even voice command - from the headset!!) that would be seriously cool.

Thanks for ur help :D, Tryed pressing the call button on headset, but it does load up the voicedial, after killing the process it makes it so that you can turn the sound on and off for the headset. Thanks :D

Yeh it does reload cdial if you call someone. :P
