Resources for HTC Blue Angel

Now in the penultimate hours before the arrival of my new angel of blue, I was wondering whether anyone out there has any good resources for software for this beast... now I know that modaco.com is the place to be for downloads and things, and I look forward to trying out everything I can, however are there any other great places to check out? I've used coolsmartphone a hell of a lot in the past and it's been very useful whenever I've needed things for my E200 and hope that there are plenty of similar sites for Pocket PCs?!

Thanks to all!

My experience through almost a whole month of owning a blue angel, is that MOST software is available from www.handango.com most of it comes with a trial of some sort, sometimes limited function, sometime limited time, sometime both, but good for a try-before-you-buy thing.

One thing you WILL need to do is check on your bluetooth build version. Anything less than 3500 is not good enough!

go to Start > Settings > Connections Tab > Bluetooth > About Tab

read off your build number from the about info.

If you need the patch to take you to 3500, I've posted a couple links to it already on here, if not, PM me and I'll send you a link.

I love my blue angel, havent had any major issues since installing the bluetooth patch. Except occasionally having to re-define my access to a private network connection settings, cos it keeps forgetting them for some reason! But it's only once a week or so, and it's only a tick box to re-tick, so not too much hassle!

Pocketzenphone is an essential utility for any Pocket PC, it lets you arrange profiles on your phone, different ringtones/notifications, it can be set to automatic as well, when you have an outlook appointment it can change profiles so you don't get disturbed etc.

Pocketzenphone Home Page

Its well worth the $5 for the full version!
