Install Smart Explorer

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get Smart Explorer on to my E100 either through IR from another SPV or connecting to Internet Explorer with the smart phone and downloading it?

Installing Smart Explorer using IR or from the web...

Using InfraRed Receive:

Assuming someone will send you 'smartexplorer_1.0_en.CAB' via IR

1. Open IR Receive

2. Wait for the file to be transferred to your device. CAB file will then be dumped into \IPSM\My Documents\

3. Once transferred, open PIE

4. In the address field type "file://\IPSM\My%20Documents\smartexplorer_1.0_en.CAB" (without the quotes)

5. Hit Go (left soft key)

6. The cab file will open, prompting you to choose 'a location for Binarys - Smart Explorer EN" (Phone or Storage Card)

7. Hit Done then wait for the app to successfully install.

Using PIE:

(You will be charged for the GPRS cost to download the file)

1. Open Internet Explorer > Menu > Go To

2. In the address field type "http://www.binarys.com/Download/smartexplorer_1.0_en.CAB" (without the quotes)

3. Hit Go (left soft key)

You will then see a confirmation window:

Download the 89.3 KB file 'smartexplorer_1.0_en.CAB'

4. Choose Yes.

5. Wait for PIE to finish downloading the cab file

6. The cab file will open, prompting you to choose 'a location for Binarys - Smart Explorer EN" (Phone or Storage Card)

7. Hit Done then wait for the app to successfully install.
