Guest nigidivitch Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Right then... I've just got my MDA3 and am in the process of getting my number ported over from Orange. My question? Is there an easy way to get all of my contacts from my E200 on to my MDA3 - I was hoping that I would be able to send (via blootooth) my contacts from old phone to new? I assume that you all know how to do this and that I'm being dense, but any help would be greatl;y appreciated! Cheers guys! :?:
Guest theanarch1st Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 If you've active sync'd your E200 with your pc so it stores your contacts on outlook then when you standard partnership it with your pc it should just copy them all across thats what happened when i went from MPx200 to my M2000 anyways and i presume E200's work with ActiveSync so all should be good :D
Guest abatis Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 [i really like Jeyo Companion for managing Contacts, SMS storing them, making screenshots and cleaning up contacts and the SIM. You could try the free trial and backup the contacts and transfer them to the new pones contacts. Using Outlook Contacts is not always the easy way to do this as you will have to set filters or take everything and vice versa. Jeyo is very slick.

I considered the sync-ing E200 then HDA3 and using outlook, however was hoping that there was a method where I could send them over bluetooth or IR!! Just lazy I s'pose! Now having looked through all the contacts on my E200 I realise that there are loads of ones I don't want, and since I would have to delete them once I'd ported them over, I figured that I would update all of them and put them in manually! Took bloody ages, but I now know how to use the HDA3 much better and I have an up-to-date list of contact!! I have downloaded the Jeyo thing and you're right Abatis, it's really good, so cheers for the heads up!!! Thanks again! :D
