Guest Alex_le_brit Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 OK, so I'm one of the few people left on here using one of the SPV Classics, but I got to thinking, if you can buy a USB dongle for PC's then surely it'd be possible to make a Bluetooth dongle for the SPV which plugged into the connector at the bottom? Or is there something int he software which would prevent this? I've never quite known how bluetooth works anyway, is the encoding done in the dongle or on the computer? Anyway just a thought, for probably a very limited market.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 Nice idea, unfortunately there is no Bluetooth support in Smartphone 2002!

Is there no way that a bluetooth add on could be written for 2002?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Is there no way that a bluetooth add on could be written for 2002? As mono said the 2002 OS will not support bluetooth.
Guest Alex_le_brit Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 As mono said the 2002 OS will not support bluetooth. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Looks like I'll be scanning e-bay for an E200 then. Don't want a C500 as I've got a bunch of SD cards, and an eleksen keyboard, and neither would be any good would they.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 You can get e200's for £70 on PAYG in Orange shpos now (if you can find one!)
