Help with WLAN

If I was to buy an Imate JAM and the Sandisk Wi-Fi SDIO card would I be able to set it up to connect to my broadband connection at home some how? If so how?

Might sound stupid but I know nothing! Would be cool if I could :D

...if there is no security on the broadband (assuming wireless router attached)...it will hook up automatically...if not, you need to set up the security codes...
