Guest misa.dlouhy Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) Hi. There are two of each ringtones in my Sounds Settings folder. This problem appeared after installing, playing with and uninstalling Sonnerie 1.1 app. Now, although i have only one of each ringtone on my Storage/Application Data/Sounds folder, in Sounds Settings appears two (for ringtone, email and few other folders). It seems, that when i tryed to define Storage Card ringtone folder with Sonnerie and then removed the program, tha application added something in registry. I don't know much of it (I have PHM Registry editor, but don-t know how tu use it to fix it). Now i have SmartTones 2.2 installed and think of how to sort it out. PS my 'czech' english is not best Michal --- I don't have to have my ringtones on miniSD, all i want is to see only one ringtone in Souns Settings. Thanx for help Edited January 23, 2005 by misa.dlouhy
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 What is probably happening is you have the same ringtone on the phone as you do on the storage card, then in Settings\Ringtones it will display the ringtone twice. This is because the phone is seeing two seperate tones.
Guest misa.dlouhy Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 (edited) It can't be, because when i remove my tones from Application Data/Sounds folder, there is none in Settings-Sounds option. And when i copy them back, there are all of them twice :-). Can you explain it to me and give me some advice? Thank you m. --- PS I am using SPV C500 at Orange UK Edited January 24, 2005 by misa.dlouhy
