Guest Binkleyz1 Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Can anyone give me instructions or assistance on how to activesync over GPRS? I have a Windows XP PC that can be made accessible over the Internet, running ActiveSync and Outlook 2003. I am not seeing any options on my MPx220 with Windows Mobile 2003 SE that immediately say 'gprs' as one of the activesync options. Thank you in advance for any help.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Welcome to the site :D You cannot sync your PC over GPRS as such you would need to use Exchange server. Instructions for Exchange server can be found here http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=94951
Guest Binkleyz1 Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Ok, but activesync has a connection option called "Allow network (Ethernet) and Remote Access Service (RAS) server connection with this desktop computer." What does that option provide for me?
