Winamp BT Remote Help

Ive installed Bluetooth Remote Control for Smartphone on both my PC and my phone. I have done everything required on the website. The server will run on the PC and the app will run on the phone. The phone will find the server but when i select it and press ok it goes back to "not connected" (i managed to get it connect once but it wouldn't allow me to select an app to control or to set the key bindings)

(I can sync and explore the phone via ActiveSync via my bluetooth connection, so i know that is working)

has anybody else used this app succesfully? there are no instructions or anything else with it so im flying blind at the mo :D

(btw: im using a SPV C500, Active Sync 3.8 and ROM 4.1.1.0)

I have tried the app. but have not experienced that problem :cry: - have you tried contacting the developer? He responded to an email I sent him, and was quite willing to help...

I used it sucessfully (it ROCKS).

1)Are you running Windows XP SP2?

2)Are you using the XP Native Bluetooth drivers, rather than the Widcom (or whatever)?

3)Any firewalls or similar?

I had it all set up straight off the bat (well, I actually had to install Winamp, I'm a Foobar user normally), but it rocks my socks, I can control my music from anywhere in the house using my C500 and D-Link DBT-120 dongle.

EDIT: And have you tried disabling ActiveSync? The software doesn't use AS, it's not even installed on the machine I'm controlling. The developer is really cool, and although he seems rather busy, he took the time to answer my mail. :D

Ill check the drivers again when i get home. I'll also make sure active sync is disconnected aswell. failing that ill drop the guy an email.
