Guest jholland Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 can anybody recommend ANY kind of software for the spv c500? whats your favourite piece of software and why? thanks!!!
Guest chucky.egg Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 I can recommend WORKING software for the SPV C500! There are loads of threads on this already, but at the end of the day it's what OTHER PEOPLE think, when surely the important thing is what is useful to you! You can download trial versions of most apps from Handango, so just give stuff a go and see how you get on. If you see something interesting do a Search for it here first if you like to see what others think, and if there are any problems
Guest jholland Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 i understand 'it's what people think' and its all down to what suits ME best m8... i was just hoping 2 be enlightened by some completely random & radical software that i otherwise may never thought of... :D

Guest chucky.egg Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 OK, I like "real world" stuff (things that do things that interact with the things outside the office window) Traffic-I gets the road traffic info to your phone in a not-too-bad map of the UK (only works for the UK, and the full product costs about £20/year) TomTom Mobile gives you SatNav but costs a stupidly-expensive £180. Nice graphics and a cute bird saying "turn left now big boy" (I might have imagned the "big boy" bit) Their was a system that connects to home automation / CCTV system (not sure if there's a Smartphone version) so you can watch your dinner burning in the oven while your at work. If you've got the switches and gubbins you can turn stuff on and off too. Be quite neat to scare the bejesus out of your folks by turning lights on and off.
Guest jholland Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 LMAO@the switch thing, thanks guys i'll check em out lol :D

Guest TigerNet Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 ...Pocket Streets for getting round town... ...Papyrus calander for figuring out who I am going to see... ...by the way, there is an entire section of the forum for software...you might get some ideas there... Cheers Nick
