Screen not notifying of SMS

Anyone else have any problems with notifications of SMS on their C500?

It seems that if i'm in my SMS inbox when I get a new SMS then read it directly, when going back to the home screen it still tells me I have a new SMS until I click on "Messages". I have ended up by pressing Home and then pressing Messages just to clear the screen off.

Also, on the other hand, occasionally i'll get the tone for a new SMS but the homepage has no indications. When I then go into my SMS inbox it shows me the (1) to indicate I have a new message.

It would seem the built in SMS functions are pretty naff. It seems to have problems if you are already in the Inbox when you receive a new message.

Is this typical?

Both of these little 'glitches' are typical of the c500 unfortunately.

We can only hope they are ironed out in a later software update ...

I hope they do get ironed out as it seems to happen most of the time as oppose to now and again.
