Guest WeirdAl Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 Hi! I have the following problem: I have set up the phone to Activesync via Bluetooth. And it works fine. BUT when I have chosen "Connect via Bluetooth" on my phone and the sync is finished I can't choose "Connect via Bluetooth" again. In fact I can't choose any of the menu items in the Activesync on my phone. They are all faded. I can still sync via my laptop. When I restart the computer, I can sync via the phone again. But only once. Then the problem is the same. Any help on this one? Thx.
Guest luvbigg04 Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Can you talk me through how you got active sync to connect to your phone via bluetooth? I can get one way, but not 2 (recieve beam is ticked!) Cheers

Normally, once you are sync'ed or connected via bluetooth, you STAY connected until you are out of range...(This is why the 'Connect via Bluetooth' is greyed, because you are already connected!). The phone will continue to sync, real time (as you add contacts or new email comes in...). In Microsoft's terms, this is 'by design'... :?:
Guest Confucious Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Synching can be changed from continous in AS on the pC - can't remember the exact options as I'm at work (finally got a contract 2 yearts to the day after my last on ended!) but as Garth saysonce you are connected you can't reconnect until you drop the connection by either going out of range or turning BT off.
