installing betaplayer

hi im having problems installing beta player for smartphone. i have a c500 and the version i have is from dvd to mobile 0.04 i think i also downloaded 0.05 new release and when i transfer to phone it says ap failed to install, i am app unlocked already and have no probs installing other 3rd party apps. thanks

Did you try running the 'betaplayer.smartphone.STABLE.0.5.exe' file from the PC ?

Make sure you're not trying to install the Pocket PC version too :D

thanks chaps i downloaded the version 0.05 and installed it from the pc it ran the set up and on my phone did all the usual stuff then at the last minute said,failed to install? but this happens with all the smartphone versions i tried even the one you get with dvd to mobile software. im 99% sure its not the pocket pc version???? defo downloaded smartphone one. cheers

Check with Spacemaker (in Settings-Accessories) how much storage memory you have left on the phone. I think the cab file is first downloaded to \Storage\windows\AppMgr\Install by the PC so it's worth checking that you have enough memory available.
