I'm sorry if this has been asked before but how can the shutter sound be stopped every time you take a picture with the mpx220? Even if the phone is on silent it still makes that sound. I have already explored EVERY folder in the phone looking for the sound file so I could just delete it but no luck. Someone please help, this sound is very annoying.

Edit the following registry Key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft\Camera\Shutter sound

Change the value from a 1 to a 0.

Can you help me with the installation? How to proceed?

actually, it was pretty damn easy to figure out. download the regeditor for smartphones: http://www.phm.lu/Products/Smartphone/RegEdit/

pick your poison thereafter. you can do it via activesync, or do the smartphone CAB file. the activesync will do the install for you, while the CAB file you will have to use file explorer to run it. it will add as a program under your start menu (mine added on the 2nd screen).

I did the CAB file via bluetooth with my iBook. the iBook had no problem in using my phone as a modem, but I ran into this thread and was interested to see if the sound for the camera could be turned off, so i figured I would contribute back to the forums :-)
