n00b: Setting up PAN with C500?

As title really, how the heck do I set up a PAN with my SPV C500 (4.1.1.4)?

I've followed the instructions for Generic Personal Area Network (PAN) and Windows XP SP2 found at:

However when it comes to setting up the Smartphone, I can't find the required options. How do I get it to network? My PC is running XP SP2 with a D-Link DBT-120 Bluetooth dongle and no firewall. I really want to get VNC working at least, and

it requires "a valid TCP/IP connection available from your Smartphone to your PC."

Also, is it possible for the phone to use my PC's internet connection rather than GRPS with PIE (or Opera) and MSN Messenger? Cheers! :D

Smartphones dont support the PAN profile.

You can use ur pc's net connection by connecting to ur pc and setting data connections to pass throu.
