Important Information On Bluetooth Device Pins

Before you buy any kind of bluetooth device for your phone bear this in mind:

*E200's will not let you bond with a device that has either no pin or an alphanumeric pin

*C500's will let you bond with a device that has no pin but will not let you bond with a device that has an alphanumeric pin.

Your best bet is to contact the company you are buying the device from and check that the pin is numeric or you could be wasting alot of money...especially in the case of gps units.

If you have fallen victim to this i suggest you contact the manufacturer and see if they can help or supply you with some kind of tool or firmware patch.
