HS850 Bluetooth and SP3

I have just purchased my first bluetooth headset (Motorola HS850) and i'am not sure if this is normal.

When someone calls me the ring tone still comes from the phone speaker but not the HS850. I would have thought the sound would be transfered to the headset but maybe this is not what happens? When i answer the voice is transfered ok just not the ring tone.

The little headset symbol is on the phone and i have tried reinstalling a few times but makes no diference. Is this normal for bluetooth or do I have a problem?

By the way this happens on both the original rom and the upgrade rom which I just installed.

Yea, it sounds about right the Moto HS850 probably wont let ya hear any polyphonic or mp3/wma sounds in the headset itself. Just a "Doo-doop" beep. Ive got the HS810 and its same deal. I guess it wasnt important enough. How's reception on your headset? I need to get new one, mine is getting close to 1yr old.
