How is the stereo headset quality from motorola?

For those that have bought one of the original Motorola mpx220 stereo headsets (or if it came in the box), how is the quality compared to say a pair of Sony earbud headsets?

I ask because at first I wanted to just buy the original one from Motorola accessories but then I thought it might have some bad quality speakers inside and maybe I should just buy an adapter that goes 3.5mm to 2.5mm.

In your experience, how does the quality compare?

I got a set and the sound quality is very good. However, they do not fit well in my ears, so I ended up getting an adapter anyways. You can usually find both on eBay at a good price.

Thank you for your reply - in the end I just ordered an adapter so I can use it with bigger headphones for better sound quality (earbuds have limited range)
