Guest Tim Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 I've just noticed that my Outlook Contacts have not been synced with my phone and on checking in Activesync it won't let me select Contacts to be copied over. It does give me the option of doing my Inbox. This seems strange as I have Outlook 2003 solely for storing contacts and do not have it set up for email. Does anyone know why Activesync won't let me do this. I have tried upgrading to Activesync 3.8 but it made no difference? Many Thanks
Guest xenophobe Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Has this worked for you before and stopped working?
Guest Tim Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Yes, this did use to work, but I don't know how long it's been, so not sure what I might have installed since, unfortunately.
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 When you uninstalled the previous version of ActiveSync, did you delete the partnership ? I wonder if creating a new one might help. Otherwise might it be a corrupt Contact causing the problem ? Hang tight though, there are plenty of AS experts on here who'll be able to help.
Guest squall Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 strange as it seems ive seen this if you dont have ms outlook 2000 installed (the one that comes on the cd, outlook express doesnt work)
Guest Tim Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 I have recently tried deleting all the existing partnerships and creating a brand new one, but it made no difference !
