Guest Spank0 Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Essentially i have to reset my mpx200 around twice a day, because i cannot recieve incoming calls. The phone is on, it says it has a full signal, but when people call me they get a message saying my phone is switched off. When i reset the phone i can recieve calls again, and this can last from 1 to 12 hours before the problem starts again, and i have to reset the phone again. Its becoming quite tedious as i am missing a lot of calls (as well as txt messages) I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this, or if anyone has any suggestions on a solution? Many Thanks Spanky
Guest lilbopeep Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 I am encountering a similar situation. Today my phone was showing "No Service" and no signal bars. Yet I could make calls out normally. Many times I seem to "miss" calls. I'll check it and see a missed call yet it never rang. And I've also seen delays in receiving new voicemail notifications. Or the notice doesn't come with the first message, maybe it shows with the 2nd or 3rd. I am on AT&T - so am wondering if the merger is affecting? My phone is now registering Cingular as service vs. "Home Service" (Which is what my phone showed for AT&T). I'm at a loss - not sure if it's hardware or carrier related.
Guest hecatae Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 I get this problem with o2 uk, my orange uk sim works fine though.
