yet another act sync~bluetooth qustion

does anyone know how to get spv c500 to connect to activesync useing belkin bluetooth dongle. downloaded the guide i found in other threads on here which helped to a point. in the belkin software i have the option to connect to spv serial port com 6, when i click it it changes the port to com 7. changed the com port in activesync to com 7, then phone & pc try to connect but after a short while active sync comes up with a message saying device trying to connect is not a smartphone or pocket pc. wether i use com port 6 or 7 in active sync i get the same problem
