Guest funkychicken9000 Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Hi I got my C500 a week or so back and i'm very impressed with it, but the camera seems to be a bit sketchy. Basically, all the pictures it takes are really dark, even with the gamma and brightness turned up. I've tested it side-by-side with friends' phones (K700i, 6230 etc) and they cope fine in the same conditions. Is this a common problem? Is there any way to remedy it?
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 The camera quality indoors is not too good I'm afraid. I don't think there's much you can do about it other than carrying around a seperate flash unit

What I do is playing with other modes until the image is suitable. Unless taking pictures in a very bright environment, Night Mode seems suitable, but you will need a very steady hand.
Guest Tr31ze Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 the night mode isnt for taking pictures at night, you can set it to night mode if you want your pictures to 'appear' as if they were taken at night, same goes for the other settings :D
