how the hell do i format this?

orite thn..i had an SPv and an sd card(256 mb) ... now..the original SPv packed up....ao how do i format the card...when i try it on the comp/smart task maneger it says that it isnt allowed to because its copy protected....(btw the card lock isnt on)...how do i format the damn thing?

you need to use binarys task manager from www.binarys.com

Or you could buy a usb card reader :D

im not sure if this would work as i have wondered my self but not tried it. my camera takes sd cards and i can format pictures when i have put them on my computer.so its nice and ready for next time i use it. it may be worth trying

nope..i have a card reader..and a camera..neither worked... :D ...am i stuck with a non-working sd card for ever?

how about giving us some information about the errors it gives :?: :|

check the write protect switch is in the write position on the card, ie not locked

the switch/lock on the card is off...and the error message is : on task manager 'error while formatting the card'...on the computer using the card reader: 'the disk is write protected'....i have tried formatting the 8mb that the spvx came with and it says the same :D
