Guest azamsaghir Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Is there a way to quickly suspend receiving SMS with SPV E100? My problem is that I receive quite a lot of SMS daily and it spoils audio playback of MP3's using Windows Media Player when driving in my car. Ideally I want a setting which disables receiving of SMS but allows receiving of voice calls. Is there a way? I want to avoid a complete barrier using 'Airplane Mode'. Thanks & Regards Azam
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 I've not heard of a solution and I doubt there is one.
Guest lukeap69 Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 how about the network feature of barring. i once had a motorola cellphone which lets you choose which feature to bar such as sms, voice, data, etc. maybe your network operator could guide you how to.. regards, lukeap 69
Guest azamsaghir Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Thanks for the replies. I had a feeling it was a both or none situation. Cheers Azam
Guest James Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 You could use Trend Micro trial from here to block all incomming texts... it will store them into a 'spam' directory without alerting you.. http://uk.trendmicro-europe.com/consumer/p...49&rightnav=0,0 this is the only solution i can think of mate.
