Ok, I have a C500 and have just purchased a Fortuna Clip On and have this working with my TomTom software (its brilliant), however I was wondering what other cool applications are out there that take advantage of a GPS device? I have at the moment the following:-

TomTom

Pocket Streets 2005

SMARTLocator.GPS

Is there any navigation software that instead of having a map it shows you the relevant Ariel photo (similar to have multimap does it)??

I did find an app called GPSDash which looked like it gave some good information on altitude etc, anyone know of any more....

Thanks

There is an app called Outdoor Navigator (or something vaguely like that) which lets you see a general map not based on roads and addresses. It US only at the moment though

I was thinking about making an app that acts as a Panic Button. When you trigger it (with a speed dial) it grabs the GPS co-ords and sends them in an SMS to a nominated number. Just got to find a spare few days... :D

Hey, that sounds good. Post here when/if you get the time to do it.

I had heard of a new app coming out that gives you the number of the closest taxi company, could also be very usefull!
