I plugged it in my USB Port.. but it doesn't charge at all.. there's no indication that it is charging.. no light.. no status.. and it doesn't data synch either.. I have emailed their customer service.. and waiting for someone to respond.. but I just wanna ask any minisync users out there for Mio 8390.. how do you know it is working? is there charging indication lights? and I noticed something.. the retractable cable heats up when i connect my MIO 8390 to the minisync and to the usb port.. Guest pwest13 Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 mine works fine with my 8390, it lights the phone up when charging and syncs fine. My cable does have Mio 8390 written on the front of the phone connector end which i cant see your has. Are you sure you ordered the correct cable, or maybe they sent you the wrong one. I know the SPV adapter fits in but doesn't charge the 8390, maybe that is the cable you recieved. All I can think of unless the cable is broken or has a loose connection! Westy

Boxwave support hasn't answered yet! the minisync that I have right now.. doesnt have any labels on it.. like what you've said.. maybe defective cable or wrong item delivered.. :( oh boy, i hate those return merchandize situations.. such a killer!
