Transfers time out when copying to SD card

Transfers always seem to time out when transferring files to my SD card. This only started happening a few weeks ago... i'm using the latest version of MS activesync, i'm not sure what could be the problem. This is transferring across MP3s or videos or anything like that.

I know i could just get a card reader... but it would be nice to figure out what the problem is too!

some users say that even though it says it has timed out leaving it a bit longer will see the transfer complete successfully...
