Guest alexis_winters17 Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Since mobile fun don't appear to have them anymore, any one know where I can get an adaptor so I can use my normal headphones with my c500? thanks! (And try not to say ebay...)
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 MoDaCo Shop sells them though you'll have to buy more than one to get over the minimum order level. High street shops like Maplins sell them
Guest fulani Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=200152 Could the reason my phone is stuck on headset profile be that I used the wrong adaptor? It's from Maplin, only one they had, fits and works perfectly, but on closer inspection it is a slightly different size...

(And try not to say ebay...) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is an adaptor on mobilefun which i am going to buy, think it should work with the c500 even though its not listed in the list of compatible devices. http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/3763.htm
Guest Chaser81 Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 @Fulani It still stuck? Did you try another handsfree (like a Motorola or Samsung one)? Plugging in one and slowly pulling it out fixed my C500 straight away.

I took it back to the Orange shop where I bought it from and they've taken off me for warranty repair. So for now, stuck with the N-Gage - not that it's not a great phone, but nothing beats a C500!

I bet you are counting down the days til its return!!
Guest M@rtin Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 I got one of these: http://www.pc-mobile.net/spvaa.htm - they weren't sure if it was compatible with the C500 but I bought one anyway and can confirm that everything works as normal apart from the phone doesn't switch into the headset profile when you plug it in. Personally I can live with that...
