Rotating Themes or Homescreen text colour

Hi,

Great forum! I've rarely seen such a wealth of information or helpful people. :D

It's my first post here and unfortunately it's a couple of questions.

I've just received an Orange C500 - great phone so far. I was wondering if there's a way to automatically rotate the themes on the phone in the same way that you can on PocketPC PDA? I don't mind if it involves 3rd party software.

I've tried Theme Changer without success. From the information that I've seen so far it seems that it's possible to change somethings about themes (background, etc) but some require a reboot.

Alternatively if it's not possible or practical (without a reboot) to automatically rotate through themes, is there a way to automatically change the homescreen text colours so that the text automatically change to be visibe against the wallpaper background? even somethigs imple would be fine - black against pale backgrounds, white against dark.

I'm using Jeyo Personaliser (a useful app that I found out about here) to rotate through a selection of wallpaper images but of course I can't changes the text colours.

So some images are fine with white text others - like my "Arctic Landscape with Polar Bear" - are not.... :D

Any advice would be gratefully received.

I'm not aware of anything other than what you've already tried.

Incidentally, have you seen SP SmartScheme for changing colour schemes ?

I've just taken a look at SP Smartscheme. It's an interesting app but I don't think it will help me this tme.

Whilst it allows you to change colours, my "problem" is that the text colours don't automatically take in to account the background and I can't change the entire theme so that the text colour doesn't matter.

I'll try it nonetheless and see if I can create a colour scheme that is more neutral against my various wallpapers.
