Qtek 8080 and GPS receiver

Dear all,

I've the a.m. smartphone with TomTom mobile installed. I have available a bluetooth receiver, a new model Wonde-x with 16 channel but the problem is that TomTom do not recognize it . I've tried with the patch that "open the gates" to all the GPS receivers but without success .

Anybody con help me with some concrete suggestions ?

Have you managed to get TomTom working with the original GPS?

Also that GPS unit may not be compatable as not all of them are.

Thanks for yr reply. I've tried with an original TomTom Gps unit and all is OK. The only reason for try to use Wonde-x is that has a very long life battery (up to 20 hours) instead of 3 hours only for the TomTom.

....still waiting for solutions...!! :idea:

Unless TomTom release a list of known gps units that work it will be hard

to know in advance of what units will and will not work.

Try my guide in the TomTom review in the Software Articles section on the first page, also have a look at the last two current pages as they may also help.
