Exchange Always Up To Date from other mailbox

I want to be able to sync my phone's mailbox with one account (an "alerts" mailbox), but my contacts and calendar with another account (my "main" one)

One of the guys has been using Always Up To Date for a couple of weeks, and it seems to be working fine, but he's sync'ing everything on his main account.

Activesync seems to allow 2 "partners" - so can I setup one via my PC to do the sync with Contacts and Calendar, and the other *still on the same PC* to sync another mailbox? After the initial sync the mailbox will only ever be sync'd over GPRS, triggered by AUTD.

Anyone done this sort of thing? Any tips from experienced AUTD users would be very much appreciated

...would it not be simpler to just uncheck the mail sync option in activesync, sync contacts and calendar, set up the pop3/IMAP4 settings in the phone, do the initial mail download using passthrough connection???

...or am I missing something...it has been known...

Cheers

Yeah, the "problems" with that are that I can only schedule downloads every n minutes, and it uses some of my GPRS bundle every time.

With AUTD you don't need to schedule downloads, you get sent a text message when your mailbox (in this case) changes. That text message triggers a sync, and that means you've effectively got Push email.

I don't want to schedule downloads, because 99.99% of the time there won't be anything there to download, but it still use a little bit of my GPRS bundle each time.

With AUTD the email gets sent to my phone pretty quickly after it arrives, but the rest of the time there is no traffic.

...can you not still do this after the initial passthrough download? Where do you get this software...I might give it a go...

The AUTD stuff is part of Exchange 2003

What I'm after is a way to setup activesync to sync a mailbox from one account, and Contacts and Calendar from another account, both to the same phone and via the same PC (initially)
