AT&T Mpx200 900 band

I live in Estonia and i bought a Motorola mpx200 off ebay and i thought it will work with the 900 band , but i dont see it under the menu , i only see 1900 and 1800 .And Estonia only has the 900 band .Is there any way i can find out if it support the 900 band ?

Also the phone is locked , so i cant test it :D .It does have some old AT&T card inside it , but i think the card is closed and it shows no reception at all .

So , what must i do ?? The phone is useless if i cant use the 900 band :'( .And i dont want to unlock it just yet ,if i dont know for shure that the 900 band works .

sorry to say but there's no way you can activate the 900 band, most AT&T mpx200 are only dual band. and don't even bother to network unlock it cause you can't use it. better put it up on Ebay for bids. :D

But some have said ,that hey have flashed their AT&T mpx200 with the 2003 rom and the 900 band has worked . Is this true ?

No

The AT&T mpx200 is a dualband phone, no ammount of flashing will change this as it is a hardware configuration and not software.

A few of the very first AT&T phones apparently were triband by mistake

but this is only a very small number and so highly unlikely that you have one of them.
