Registry question - where is MMSC settings?

Friends,

from a conversation in czech mobilmania.cz forum under Eurotel Smartphone II topic is clear, that phones distributed in different countries and operators come with different MMS settings.

Seems like Orange MMS settings does not allow to specify "max. sending size" of the MMS files while others allow to select number of values between 40K - 250K.

In our case (eurotel) is the limit size 100K too low for certain applications.

I tried to search registry to find out the key, where is this "max sending size" key value, but no luck.

I presume, it will be in the same section as the others data - name, mmsc url, wap gateway, port (9201 in most phones) and in our case is there one more item - "max sending size".

May you help, what key is it? If it´s in the registry. It may be even in a file, but I believe, it´s just control panel for a registry settings.

Thanks

I'm not terribly technical but is it not possible that the restriction is on the network itself and not on the phone. In otherwords if an MMS exceeds 100K is gets rejected by the network, I guess to protect their bandwidth.

Thanks a lot. I just though, that it will be for the reason you mention (protection of the bandwith) but when you switch to the other operator, it may be possible to change it. Slovak eurotel allows users to setup up to 250kB for example...
