Guest 42nas Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 Hello everybody, I have a Qtek8010 smartphone (a.k.a.Orange SPV c500) running Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Recently I installed a dictionary called SlovoEd together with a keyboard driver called Interkey (both programs were downloaded from coolsmartphone.com). Both programs are shareware and have expiration dates. When Interkey expired (after 14 days) I tried to unistall it by just deleting its folder in Storage/Windows/ProgramFiles and a corresponding .dll file in /Application data. I know this is NOT the right way to uninstall stuff, but anyway I did it that way. Of course this action screwed up everything, so I decided to re-install interkey. I tried to re-install it several times, always getting an "installation succesfull" message however no folder is created in Program Files and of course the program is not installed. Also nothing happens when I try to remove interkey via Remove programs. My problem: I cannot type any character now (English / Greek / whatever) since klicking on the numeric keypads produce just numbers. Can anybody help me out this mess? Thank you for your time.
Guest James Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 welcome to the site mate :D i suggest if you dont get an answer you do a C500 Hard Reset on the device, this will return it to an 'out of the box' state. Start/Accessories/Clear Storage
