Newbie has question concerning "autostart"

Hi I'm a german smartphone newbie and I have a question concerning the automatical start of some programms on my MPx200.

I think I should discribe my problem first: When I start my Mpx some programs or better some icons (I'm using the full view) are started automaticly. Theese are the programs which are automatically startet: incoming messages, contacts, calender, internet explorer and solitar.

The thing is taht I don't want theese icons to appear /star automatically. Is there a way to disable the autostart of the programs? Maybe in the registry like on a desktop pc???

Hello, from what you've described the programmes aren't actually running but your homescreen is just showing the shortcuts to them. If you would like to see what programmes are running there are a few task manager programmes around that will let you do just that, aswell as close them down. Have a search around! :D

Thank you for your answer. so theese are just the shortcuts!?! How can I delete them?

The problem is that I want to sort my menu. I want put things like office tools and media players in several folders, so that my menu is tidyed up. when I put for example the media player in a folder there appears a sign on my homescreen, I think the sign says out that the shortcut does not exist... what can I do against this???

You can either edit your homescreen's XML code or use another one (there are a lot more powerful homescreens) and modify their shortcut settings in XML.
