Guest ParTyboy Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 Is it possible to change the message alerts? I have noticed they are in a midi format in the windows directory, is it a simple case of converting a wav/mp3 to midi and placing in there or will it just not recognise it? Thanks
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 Do you mean for SMS, MMS, emails ? They need to be wavs and you put them in \Storage \Application Data \Sounds
Guest ParTyboy Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 yeah i have wavs in there for my ringtones but dont seem to show for sms alerts, could someone explain how i change the alert just in case i am doing it all wrong. Assuming its Start-Settings-Sounds
Guest Geeklord Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 Go to Settings/Sounds and you'll find preferences for all the alerts on your phone, including email, channel messages, SMS, etc. From there you can choose from a list of WAVs which ever one you fancy.
