Yachtzee is a very addictive and fun game to play! Now you can take Yachtzee anywhere on your Pocket PC. You can play up to 8 players on Yachtzee. The animations are stunning. As you roll the dice, the dice sweep across the score sheet into their perspective slots and reveal their face values. Also noticed the "baby monitor" app on the homepage, sad I know, but I am a dad. There's been a Symbian version for a little while and was wondering if there was anything for the Smartphone

I guess it's whatever the market will bear. If people will pay $10, more or less, for Yahtzee, then the next guy will charge $12 and so on. I can see prices going up as apps get more complex and take more time to write and make market-ready, but for something like Yahtzee....nah, I won't pay it. I've written Yahtzee games in various languages for various platforms and not one took longer than an hour to write. I'd call $10 a pop overreaching but that's my opinion.

Some instructions would be good (took me a while to figure it out) but the graphics and controls are easy once you've sussed it I can't see the commercial one being $13 better than the freebie, so I'll give it a miss personally

If it's not freeware does anyone have an email address for the author? Thanks

The last posts on their thread are from the Developer and the Site Admin, and they seem to say that he's working on the game and will get it fixed soon.
